COMPETITIONS

The NZ Riding Pony Society has a number of competitions for our members and their ponies to enter. The Performance Competition is run annually from 1st May to 30 April. There are a number of categories to suit everyone.

The Melville Black Memorial, a class for NZ Bred ponies, with adult registration, in their first season under saddle and novice ponies. This class is held in both the North Island and the South Island at the NZ Agricultural Show in Canterbury.
